Candles4Assange is global collective of supporters who came together first on 3 July 2019 from over 62 cities and 25 countries to fight for Julian Assange & Chelsea Manning on Julian Assange's birthday. We now work with a series of groups to list and instigate international solidarity actions in support of specific one-off actions going on in Belmarsh / Central London and key sites in the US and Australia.

International group created by Suzie Dawson to establish a grassroots support base for Julian Assange a few months after his internet access at the Ecuadorian Embassy was revoked. Julian Assange Defence Committee/WISE Up Action is a solidarity network for groups and individuals active in Wales, Ireland, Scotland & England (W.I.S.E.) in support of Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange. We campaign on the streets and online, organise support events, distribute information and resources within the home countries, provide speakers for, and raise awareness at appropriate events and maintain this our website as a public resource providing background and ongoing information, and as a blog, posting campaign updates, events’ announcements and reports. As a grassroots network we share information, ideas and resources with one another. Please get involved by joining events listed ‘Julian Assange Upcoming Solidarity Actions’ on this site, or by organizing your own events. Let us know by using the ‘Contact Us’ page if you want help with resources, information, speakers, or advice. Please feel free to contribute to the blog by telling us about solidarity actions you have organized – send us your words and pictures in a report, and we’ll post it to the blog to share with others. The Oxford Campaign to Defend Julian Assange organised a public meeting, at Wesley memorial Hall, on November 7th 2019. Speakers included Jake Lynch, Professor of Peace Studies and Maxine Walker from the Committee to Defend Julian Assange, a grassroots solidarity group for the WikiLeaks founder.

Scots Defend Assange held the first Scotland Must Resist speaking event on the 25th January 2020 to encourage activism in Scotland. The first protest was held on the first day of the extradition hearing and people came from across Scotland to stand outside the Scottish Parliament. Thanks to the protest we now have a small group of activists eager to get into more actions. We can now cover three territories in Scotland: Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

Established in Mexico City to honor, raise awareness and distribute information about the enormous contribution that Julian Assange - WikiLeaks have done to humanity. We organise protests, rallies and other events, looking for open spaces to promote Julian's cause; we interact a lot with people, elaborate flyers and campaign at universities, journalism schools, appropriate massive events and open areas; speaker at events against torture, at an art place and at a journalist forum. Deliver in hand a communique to 42 journalists regretting their silence. We hold monthly interviews at ABC Radio Station, La Jornada, Aristegui and other indie newspapers publish our monthly protests. The group started out in April 2009 with 7 members and at our last march on February 24th we were 30. We demand Justice for Julian and respect to his human rights, from our small trench we invite you to join us to declare Peace to war.

Free Assange Nederland started out in October 2019 and currently has a core team of 3 people.
