On September 7th 2020, the first issue of WeeklyLeaks was released – a 12 page newspaper published to mark the start of the 2nd part of Julian Assange's extradition hearing. It was distributed in front of London's Central Criminal Court (“Old Bailey”) where the extradition show trial was underway. The second issue of WeeklyLeaks was released on September 21st 2020, and also distributed in front of the “Old Bailey”.

"WeeklyLeaks Souvernir Edition! War on Journalism!" * WeeklyLeaks issue #1 contains a selection of crucial texts that provides all the information needed to understand the background to the political persecution of Julian Assange. It includes the exhaustive Republik.ch interview of Nils Melzer " A murderous system is being created before our very eyes" and the full letter by "Lawyers 4 Assange" among many other choice articles.

* WeeklyLeaks issue #2 contains in-depth analysis of the first two weeks of the hearing: a detailed account of the first day by Craig Murray (which included a high amount of procedural sh*tfuckery by judge Vanessa Baraitser and prosecutor James Lewis, imposing to proceed with the 24/06/20 superceding indictment despite the defence's evidence and witness line-up corresponding to the previous accusations); the full-text of Mark Feldstein's brilliant testimony, a remarkable exhaustive summary of a recent history of journalism and whistleblowing; extracts from the testimony of Trevor Timm, an interview with Jen Robinson, a report by Angela Richter, and other select pieces.

This newspaper, as an intervention in the public space, aims at bringing back a contextualisation of 10 years of persecution and almost 15 years of WikiLeaks's fight for the publication of truthful information, innovation in journalism, as well as advanced techniques of source protection. It is a call, a concrete campaigning tool, and a message of encouragement for everyone fighting for Truth and Justice.

WeeklyLeaks is a collection of valuable texts, illustrations and artworks, and shines a light on a documentary film, a radio channel, and several initiatives all aiming towards this same objective.

5000 copies of issue#1 and 3000 copies of issue#2 have been printed. More may soon follow…

• WeeklyLeaks #2 - 21 Sept. 2020 - "Courage edition - to Chelsea"

Here is an edition to read on a computer screen. It is the same format (“tabloid”) as the one printed and distributed in the streets of London.

Here is an A3 edition, slightly resized to better fit the common printing format: ideally A3, but should also look great on a standard A4 printer.

Here is the original print edition, in “British tabloid” format, as sent for printing in London.
